When yeast in the gut is out of balance, look no further than Candifense. The Candifense formula was custom designed around a potent combination of enzymes that help break down the cell wall of yeast cells in the gut. Yeast have cell walls made of cellulose, which cannot be digested or broken down by human digestive enzymes as we do not produce cellulase, the enzyme needed to break down cellulose. Candifense contains a variety of potent cellulase and fiber digesting enzymes specifically chosen to help support a healthy balance of yeast and probiotic bacteria in the gut.
Candifense supports a healthy and controlled population of Candida Albicans in the gut. When optimum balance of microorganisms in the gut is discussed, no conversation is complete without mentioning certain opportunistic yeasts, such as Candida Albicans. Candida is a normal and regular inhabitant of the gut, but as many of you know and have had experience with, it can cause all kinds of problems when it grows out of balance. The enzymes in Candifense help support normal Candida populations in the gut and create an inhospitable environment for Candida overgrowth.
Candifense is the perfect choice for anyone who:
- Is concerned about opportunistic yeast overgrowth, and wants to support a healthy gut microbiome
- Prefers a natural alternative to harsh prescription medications
- Has tried other formulas designed for microorganism balance in the GI tract without success
- Is concerned that Candida Albicans overgrowth or imbalance may be lending itself to leaky gut

How long can I take Candifense®?
Most people take Candifense while they follow a Candida overgrowth protocol which generally lasts for 1-3 months. While many people take Candifense for longer periods of time, or even indefinitely, I always advise you to speak with your healthcare provider to help you make that decision so that your specific scenario and health history can all be taken into account.
Is Candifense safe for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers?
In my clinic, I will occasionally use Candifense with children and teenagers, however, I always recommend working with your child’s pediatrician or other qualified healthcare provider before deciding to use it. For breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women, I do not generally recommend detoxing or following yeast protocols in these cases, and again recommend working with your doctor, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider before making the decision to include Candifense in any supplement protocol while expecting or nursing.
What time of day should I take Candifense? Should I take it with or without food?
I suggest Candifense be taken twice daily. Two capsules each time, for a grand total of four capsules a day. I generally recommend taking it in the morning on an empty stomach. Candifense works best when taken away from food so that the enzymes do not act upon the contents of the stomach and instead reach the small and large intestine where they can support yeast balance.
