I'm in Instagram Jail
Sent by JUDY CHO | April 23, 2022
I’m in Instagram jail for having three strikes on my account. What’s really gaslighting about it all is that when someone tries to mention me, Instagram shares, “@nutritionwithjudy can’t be mentioned because they have repeatedly posted the content that goes against our community guidelines on false content about COVID-19 or vaccines.”
And for a company that’s woke, they got my pronoun wrong.
Back on topic, since I can share more freely here, let’s take a look at the exact strikes.
Strike 3: Mercury in Vaccines
The most recent strike was about mercury. The post shared the concerns around consuming fish and mercury. I stated that if you’re concerned about mercury in fish, there is more mercury in vaccines. You can read about it on the CDC website. Read the asterisk about thimerosal.
Strike 2: Vaccine Ingredients
While we’re talking ingredients, here are the ingredients in the COVID-19 vaccines.
Apparently sharing content from the CDC website is considered misinformation.
Strike 1: Probiotics
Probiotics for gut health is also misinformation. This was flagged as marketing illegal goods.
In a previous newsletter, I mentioned studies that have shown how probiotics can help with long-Covid symptoms.
On instagram, I’ve recommended other supplements (notice this is part 3 in the header), but apparently instagram doesn’t like probiotics.
I’d like to know how any of the information is false. I’ve always been extra careful with how I share any information on vaccines.
Even before the pandemic, I shared about vaccine ingredients in Carnivore Cure. The ingredients have always been shared with the public.
STUDY OF THE WEEK — Carnivore Cure Excerpts on Pharma
I’m not one to get a slap on the wrist and keep quiet. Push me and I’ll push back harder. And if the shareholders of Instagram want us to keep quiet on any pharmaceutical information, let me share some of the unfortunate truths about pharmaceuticals.
Below you’ll find excerpts from Carnivore Cure. This content has nothing to do with the pandemic. Corporations want everything and everyone to seem divided and hostile, but it’s often not the case.
Most people want the same things in life: love, health, and happiness.
Who is Kevin Foley and Stephen Burkhart? They got some amazing payouts in just one year.
Carnivore Cure Excerpt on Mercury:
Mercury is a neurotoxin and accumulates in the central nervous system, liver, and kidneys. Some forms of mercury cross the blood-brain barrier and cause cognitive and mood issues.370
Mercury can be found in fish, but the main concerns for mercury toxicity don’t involve fish. Thermostats, lightbulbs, batteries, auto parts, and skin creams may contain mercury. Mercury is also found in corn sweeteners such as corn syrup, sodium benzoate (food preservative), and food coloring. Inhaling elemental mercury from a broken thermometer is extremely toxic to your nervous system, lungs, and kidneys.371
Dental amalgams are made up of more than 50 percent mercury, which releases methyl mercury, and is dangerous because it’s attracted to tissues and organs.372 It is one of the few chemicals that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Most European countries, Canada, and Japan have extensive bans on amalgam fillings. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency classified mercury as a hazardous waste in 1988. So, while toxicologists consider mercury to be one of the most poisonous substances, it has been considered safe because it occurs naturally.
Mercury also can be passed down to babies if the mother had dental amalgams while pregnant. But the main exposure for children is vaccinations. Tables 18.10–18.12 share some of the most common ingredients in vaccinations.373
Twenty-five to thirty percent of vaccinations contain mercury as a preservative. Flu shots contain high levels of mercury. Vaccine makers sometimes swap mercury for formaldehyde and aluminum. According to the FDA’s information guide, Thimerosal (a preservative) in vaccines is approximately 50% mercury (Hg) by weight.374
While we’re discussing Big Pharma, Big Food is no different. Next week I’ll share something similar to the food additives in our foods.
I’ll always advocate for the people. Instagram may have slapped my wrists but it won’t stop me from sharing.
SOCIAL MEDIA HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Latins have a word for hope — it means breath, to give oxygen to someone.
🕊The world needs hope. Hope is what keeps us going.
The opposite of hope:
🐄One of the reasons I don’t overly stress about the highest quality sourcing is because I believe in wellness for all.
🥩The truth is that most of us can eat only conventional meats — every single day and thrive.
❤️🔥If we’re afraid of every single thing we’re exposed to and what we eat, we’ll always be triggering our fight-flight response.
🔥For many, this triggers a constant immune response in the body, causing chronic inflammation.
⛑This is why limbic system retraining, DNRS, EFT, and trauma therapy are becoming a must for root-cause healing. These tools allow the mind, body (nervous system) to get back into a calm state — a state needed for healing.
🌟We all know a story of someone that was given a few months to live but they’re alive and well, years later.
👩🏻🔬We can learn all the evidence-based science, but sometimes there are miracles that happen.
💔And when my clients are really unwell, I have them lean on hope.
❤️🩹Hope is an expectation that something good is going to happen. That we should expect to heal fully.
☠️We get debilitated by fear, so protect your minds because your wellness depends on it.
🍖I didn’t heal from only grass-finished meats and raw dairy. I healed from eating only meat — something I deprived my body of for 12 years.
🥀And in the process, the core of me also healed. When food couldn’t be my obsession, I was forced to look at my broken self.
🙏🏼When I put my hope in God, I became free. Life is not perfect (and it’s not meant to be) but I am free.
🦋A Russian saying says: Hope dies last. As long as you are alive, you have hope.
🪡If at times you can’t see clearly or can’t see at all, if you can just hang on to one thread of hope, then hold on.
🌈That hope can be enough to start the process for change.
💊Wellness and healing are not just about the newest science or the best new drug or food. A lot of times the answer is within.
♥️The darkest hour is before the dawn. Things work together for our good.

PODCAST SPONSOR: Nutrisense CGM
Nutrisense is a continuous glucose monitoring or CGM program, where you can see what your blood sugar is doing 24 hours a day. Most chronic illness stems from the inability to manage blood glucose levels which then impacts insulin levels.
I like the temporary use of CGMs for two reasons:
If you have low energy on a meat-based ketogenic diet, you can see how your body is responding to different foods, sleep, stress and exercise. I also like CGMs and one of the main reasons my clients try them is to figure out why they are waking up multiple times a night. Usually, when blood sugar drops too low and the adrenals compensate to increase blood sugar, most people will wake up. It’s pretty fascinating to see this on the CGM.
The second reason to get a CGM is to use it as a motivational tool. When you see your body’s blood glucose react to sugary foods, for some people, it’s motivation to choose better food options.
I used to think that CGMs weren’t ideal because of the Bluetooth-like feature (it’s Near Field Communication, NFC technology) but I think the short-term benefits are powerful. I’ve seen it in my loved ones and my clients.
Whether you temporarily use a CGM to troubleshoot diet and lifestyle or as a habit tracker, Nutrisense’s CGM program can help you get to better health.
Each CGM lasts 14 days, and each subscription plan includes one month of free support from a Registered Dietitian. Nutrisense comes with an app that helps you track your data, understand your glucose trends, log meals, and much more.
I don’t believe people need CGMs long-term but it’s a great way to troubleshoot your health and change your habits.

NwJ PODCAST: Why You’re Not Getting Better with Carnivore — Dr. Eric Dorninger
I’m excited to sit down with Dr. Eric Dorninger. We talk about CIRS, the symptoms of mold, and much more.
We discuss the following:
All about Dr. Eric Dorninger
How he suffered and overcame CIRS
The symptoms of mold
Thoughts on hormone imbalances
Thoughts on DHEA on a carnivore diet
Migraines on a carnivore diet
Why is ERMI testing a gold standard?
How to make CIRS diagnosis affordable
Where to find Dr. Eric Dorninger
NwJ INSIDER TIPS
Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is not an easy discussion. As more of my clients do the CIRS bloodwork, the MARCoNS testing, and the ERMI home testing, there’s a lot of concerns around cost.
Last week, I spent a lot of time creating a step-by-step NwJ CIRS protocol (client-confidential) that can make the entire illness less overwhelming. I tried to find ways to lower costs and allocate the resources for mold remediation.
In our nutritionist team meeting this week, I ended up shedding some tears. (I seem to do that so often as NwJ). I knew I was frustrated and one of my nutritionists helped me realize that it was because I feel helpless.
I came to the humble reality that I can’t fix everyone.
With meat-only carnivore, we can try different meats, different macros, different electrolytes, different gut supplements… All of it can be relatively affordable.
The CIRS protocol doesn’t have many shortcuts. I can help cut down on doctor visit costs and hold their hand along the journey (sharing my thoughts on protocols and medications), but that’s really all I can do.
The environmental mold testing, the remediation for mold, and the person working on their inner self are not simple or cheap.
Some clients have decided to live with any remaining conditions with meat-only carnivore, as they still feel so much better than on a non-carnivore diet.
I never share the risks of not treating CIRS down the road, but it’s a harsh reality that I have to come to terms with as a practitioner.
The decision is ultimately up to each individual.
During our nutritionist team call, I was reminded of my faith, and what I’m leaning heavily on lately. I have hope that my clients can heal and while they may not always have a mold-free pristine home, we can somehow find ways to make it work.
There are miracles that happen all the time in our world. I have faith that my clients can be part of these miracles (and I pray for it daily).
One tip: One reason mold is so toxic is that it crashes our melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH) levels that are produced in our pituitary.
LOW LEVELS OF MSH
Leads to dysregulation of multiple processes, causing:
Problems with sleep patterns and melatonin leading to disturbed sleep (low MSH causes imbalanced melatonin production and levels).
Problems with salt and water balance through interaction with ADH/AVP (increased urination and thirst) and serum osmolality, leading to increased thirst and urination, palpitations and postural orthostatic tachycardia (POTS).
Dysregulation of the immune system with increased inflammatory cytokines, T cell abnormalities, and increase in autoimmunity.
Increased pain due to decreased endorphin production.
Issues with increased gut permeability.
Reduction in androgens/low testosterone.
Colonization of the nose with MARCoNS.
Weight gain is unresponsive to changes in diet and exercise (leptin resistance).
One way to increase MSH secretion from the pituitary is by increasing exposure to UV light. Unlike most hormones, melanocyte-stimulating hormone release is not thought to be controlled by a direct feedback mechanism.
Try to get a minimum of 30 minutes of sun daily.
Consider Cytozyme PT/HPT: Take 2 a day, morning and afternoon (has pituitary and hypothalamus glandular).
In another newsletter, I’ll bring up limbic system retraining. If our bodies are always in a chronic fight/flight state, we need to find ways to reduce our overactive immune and nervous system responses.
We have to let go of fear. Fear of food. Fear of people. Fear of environment. It causes harm within the body.
Here’s one simple example. The concerns over our fish, water and our sourcing of meats can cause more harm than good.
If you aren’t getting better on a meat-only carnivore diet and you have persistent symptoms, I recommend watching the interview with Dr. Eric Dorninger. I have a few handouts on CIRS. You can find it here.
Most people try so many different diets to find the right diet and the right foods for their individual bodies. If we go down to the bare basics of meat-only, we can move further along in our healing journey.
Meat-only carnivore is the most anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense diet. Once you remove food as a variable to illness, then you can find other root-cause issues that may be causing you to feel unwell.
Never give up on your healing journey. For some of us, carnivore completes the healing puzzle. For others, it’s a critical piece and more pieces need to be found.
And that is the true power of a meat-only carnivore diet.
