Carnivore Diet Success Story⠀

🔦Spotlight Sunday is with @Charlie1brown_2019

I started Keto in November of 2018. My goals were to lose weight, feel better and manage my T2D. I travel a lot for work and it was tough at times to eat Keto on the road. I kept leaning more towards Carnivore because it was easy. Just eat MEAT!⠀

I also had @strong.sistas and @eatmeatqueen encouraging me to try Carnivore. After losing 50+ lbs on Keto I changed to Carnivore in October 2019 (#Carnivore75Hard) and have lost 80lbs in total now.⠀

WHAT CARNIVORE HAS HEALED:⠀
🥩DIABETES: I’ve learned so much how about nutrition and how to feed my body as well. My Type 2 Diabetes is GONE.⠀

🥩MENTAL HEALTH: I feel so much better physically and mentally. I’m just in a better place.⠀

🥩COMMUNITY: Other benefits that I had no idea I would see are the AMAZING people in the Keto and Carnivore communities. Thank you to everyone for their support!⠀

3 Tips for Starting the Carnivore Diet

1️⃣It was very easy to shift from Keto to Carnivore, probably much easier than going from SAD to Carnivore. Depending on your personality type (abstainer vs. moderator) and current health status, you may want to shift to a keto or low-carb diet before starting the carnivore diet. ⠀

2️⃣Make sure you get your electrolytes. The best, in my opinion, is Redmond Real Salt @redmondrealsalt. You need more electrolytes while you transition to a low to zero-carb diet.⠀

3️⃣Your body will need some time to adapt. Be patient and results will come.⠀

……..⠀

🐄Some say these are just anecdotal stories. I say, maybe. If you have physical and mental symptoms, try it. Worse case, you can always go back to your current diet. Or you may just join our carnivore tribe and be part of the “not-valid-science,” body of anecdotal stories that #meatheals. ♥️
